To keep them perfectly efficient it is important to store them for long periods (4-6 months) with a residual charge (the ideal is the 50%).
Lithium batteries are very afraid of heat and cold. While the battery works, the cells inside heat up, the external heat risks increasing this temperature, damaging it.
