Get ready for the 1st dive of the season!
WITH THE ARRIVAL OF SUMMER ONE OF THE ACTIVITIES TO PUT ON THE CALENDAR IS THE OPENING OF THE POOL IN YOUR GARDEN! Get ready for the 1st dive of the season!

1- Initial cleaning: remove the winter cover, carefully to prevent debris from ending up in the water. Clean the edges to prevent dirt from entering the water. If necessary, remove larger debris with the appropriate net.
2. Check the frame for cracks or damage. Examine the interior lining and make sure there are no holes. Also check that the pump, filter, and all accessories are in good condition and working.

3. If the water level has dropped, bring it back to the optimal level.
4. Carry out water tests with the relevant kits to test pH, alkalinity and chlorine levels. Add the necessary chemicals to balance the water. Shock the pool (superchlorination) to eliminate bacteria and algae. Follow the instructions for the relevant products for doses.
5. Clean the filter and run it at maximum to keep the water clean. Allow the filtration system to run for at least 24 hours after the shock to ensure that all the chemicals are well distributed and the water is well filtered.

6. Check that all safety equipment is in good condition (ladders, non-slip edges and safety buoys).

7. Brush the walls and bottom of the pool to prevent the formation of algae and deposits. Use a pool vacuum suitable for your pool to remove debris from the bottom.

8. Test water weekly and adjust chemistries as needed with regular checks. Clean the filter and empty the skimmer basket regularly. Clean weekly with a vacuum cleaner and brush the surfaces to keep the water clear.

By following these tips, you will be able to open your swimming pool in the garden efficiently and safely, ensuring a pleasant environment throughout the summer season. Your pool is ready for fun backyard games, a little relaxation and a nice swim!
