The
Thermal Account, the state incentive for the purchase of new latest generation heating appliances, has received two updates compared to the version introduced by Ministerial Decree 12/28/2012. We've already talked about the 2016 update
in a previous article. Let's now see the innovations introduced by the latest one
update of the
Thermal Account 2018 to obtain
up to 65% reimbursement of expenses supported for the purchase and installation of pellet stoves, wood stoves and others
heating products of the environments. The 2018 Thermal Account is aimed at
promote interventions to increase the energy performance of buildings existing ones and the production of thermal energy from renewable sources for medium and small sized systems. In this way, we try to reduce consumption costs and quickly recover part of the expenses incurred.
The main innovations introduced:

Who can request the incentive
The 2018 Thermal Account application can be submitted by
businesses,

PA (Public administrations). A private individual can request up to 65% reimbursement for expenses incurred by contacting one

Thermal count 2018: chow to request it

The administrative procedures regulated by Law 241/90 provide that the submission of the application can take place according to
two distinct modes:
- through Direct Accessby submitting the application within 60 days of the end of the works. Given the streamlining of the process, from 2018 the request procedure will be significantly simpler and quicker for the installation of small-sized systems, in the event that the installed components are certified and contained in the Catalog of domestic appliances published by the GSE.
- through Reservation, in the event that the intervention has not yet been carried out. With this procedure it will be possible to receive a deposit of the amounts due when the works begin, while the balance of the amounts due will be recognized at the end of the works themselves.
